At the Junge bakery, you can be sure of being served with kindness with the smell of warm bread rolls and snacks at the counter. In the Junge bakery, we place a great value on service and quality – every day. Since “real taste” has been the key principle of the traditional shop which was founded in 1897 and is now run by its fourth generation owner and we hope that this will continue to distinguish us.
Numerous awards for the baked goods, the employees and the shop speak a clear language. Junge did not only win the Food Service Prize – Europe’s most important gastronomy competition and the Baker’s Oscar, the German Institute for Service quality also tested the shop in 2012 with the result: test winner – with the best products, friendliest and most competent staff and top service! “We do everything we can to make sure our customers feel right at home in our bakery cafes” according to the owner, Axel Junge.
So that the success story continues, we will not compromise on our key principles: baked goods are handmade as far as possible with natural, pure ingredients and machines are only used as far as is necessary. Only specialist personnel work at Junge and they undergo constant training. Exclusive products are baked according to our own recipes. An innovative selection which maintains that which is tried and tested but also breaks new ground means that the range will never be boring. In the Mercado, we have around 20 spaces for you to relax – over a caramel macchiato or hot crispy chicken.
