The Waldorf kindergarten of the Rudolf Steiner School in Hamburg-Altona is located in an unusual location above the roofs of Altona. Bright and spacious rooms are spread over two levels and invite you to play, linger and relax. The roof terrace with a large sandpit and climbing tower also extends over two levels – here children can play, run around and dig extensively.
In the Waldorf kindergarten, 45 children receive educational support appropriate to their age and development in manageable, mixed-age groups. The loving example of the teachers encourages them to participate imaginatively, whereby natural and child-friendly play and building materials are of great importance. Above all, the teachers support the children in developing and developing their senses in a healthy way. This also includes getting to know crafts and household activities. The children are particularly encouraged musically, rhythmically and artistically.
