At the Hamburg bread manufacturer “Brot und Stulle” the name says it all. It is a declaration of love for a food with which everyone, without exception, has their own personal childhood memories: bread and butter. While the displays of many bakery chains today are more reminiscent of pizzerias or French bistros, “Brot und Stulle” focuses on regionality and originality: fresh bread, baked directly on site, with a crispy crust, juicy dough and high-quality toppings without any fuss.
It’s about the honest sandwich to get full. “Snack” is a term that the Hamburg operators of Brot und Stulle don’t like to use because it simply doesn’t fit well with the idea of their concept.
